C2 Architecture, PC was retained by WRT, LLC as an architectural teammate for Phase 1 of the redevelopment of the Commodore Perry Apartments located in Buffalo, New York.

The first phase (Phase 1) includes the demolition of 24 blighted, vacant buildings, creating 405 new construction 100% affordable units with one to five bedrooms. The Development Team is currently proceeding with Phase 1, and expected to start construction in 2024.

C2's involvement is to support WRT, Pennrose and the Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority during Phase I of the revitalization efforts. Our team is providing architectural design support for design development and construction document phases.

Our team's efforts focus on drawings for a total of 28 buildings, for 177 units. There will be 15 different building types as part of the typical low-rise buildings.
