C2 completed a full restoration of the two-story, historic Kindl building located at 201 State Street in downtown Schenectady for SUNY Schenectady. This building now houses the college’s Workforce Development office for students, businesses and community members to gain valuable knowledge through noncredit classes, job training and GED preparation.
C2’s scope of work included façade improvements, the replacement of the roof, windows, and doors. The scope also included programming and design of new offices, classrooms, a computer lab and meeting rooms on the ground floor. The top two floors, are subleased to companies participating in Start-Up New York, the state’s tax incentive program for attracting new businesses.
