C2 provided design services for the new, 5,000 square foot Unified Communications Center on Hamburg Street in Schenectady, New York.

The Schenectady County Unified Communications Center serves as a centralized emergency and public safety dispatch 911 center for the City of Schenectady and the Towns of Niskayuna, Glenville (including the Village of Scotia, Rotterdam, Duanesburg (including the Village of Delanson) and Princetown.

Programming was a critical component of the design process for this new call-center. Efficiency and space allocation were major focuses when laying out the floorplan.

Our team worked closely with Schenectady County officials and stakeholders in order to obtain city approvals and permits for the build of the new center. We oversaw the project from beginning schematic design stages through to final construction and occupancy.
