Southern Saratoga YMCA Renovation

C2 provided architectural design services for a multi-phase renovation of the existing Southern Saratoga YMCA located in Clifton Park, NY.

Modifications to the 40,000 SF space address space planning and programmatic needs to allow the YMCA to grow and better serve it’s current membership. The work includes interior renovations creating a new youth wing, lobby with connecting stair and common spaces. The wellness and studio areas were refreshed with new finishes. The need for a universal locker room and spin studio were identified and were added for members. The Aquatics area benefits from a new pool deck and lighting. Additionally, a new splash pad was created.

The exterior facade was modernized with new cladding and signage creating a welcoming entrance.

Phase one of construction started in the spring of 2024 with Phase two wrapping up in 2026.
