C2 Celebrates Fourth Annual "iT" Week
Last week, C2 celebrated its fourth annual "iT" week. At C2 Design Group, we believe in camaraderie, teamwork, and the employee experience.
This year, we welcomed new staff and planned team-building events that created shared memories and opportunities to give back.
As a growing firm, we recognize how important employee engagement is. C2 iT week is all about fostering collaboration, communication and community.

On Monday, C2 staff were greeted with a breakfast buffet and gifted custom C2 apparel, can coozies, and sneakers with C2 colors. Team members donned their C2 apparel for a new group picture highlighting our growing team of 16 employees!
On Tuesday evening, The C2 team participated in an outdoor, open-air workout at the MVP Health Care Fitness Court located on SUNY Schenectady's campus. Staff were led thru a 45-minute, circuit training instructed by Sarah James, an MVP Fitness Court ambassador.
These Fitness Courts provide an inclusive space for the community to work on their health and wellness.

On Wednesday, a.k.a. "Trey Day", our master of ceremonies, Trey led a Pictionary/Charades battle. Staff were divided up into four teams that faced off to win raffle tickets used to increase chances of winning a slew of fabulous prizes for a drawing taking place on Friday.
Teams were given 5-minutes to sketch/act our as many words as possible. Let's just say our magical MC came up with some pretty eclectic phrases, generating lots of laughters and friendly competition.
On Thursday, the C2 crew were treated to a last minute trivia/pizza night. Trivia was hosted by our newest employee, Julie!
On Friday, we enjoyed an afternoon of fun activities including a jenga tournament, a cornhole tournament, and Connect 4 with family and friends at our office. Winners of each tournament scored $100 cash prizes.
The Innovo Kitchen food truck provided delicious fare including parmesan fries, poutine, pulled pork sliders, snapper tacos, and ice cream sandwiches.
Later, staff were treated to an incredible spread of prizes via a raffle pull including Stanley mugs, a Craftsman tool kit, Yeti insulated cooler, golf balls, a tabletop grill, gift cards, bottles of wine, tequila, and Jack Daniels.
Over the weekend, the C2 team volunteered at a Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County's home build in Rotterdam, New York. Together, the team cut and installed railings, caulked joints, and installed insulation.
C2 commits annually to volunteer as part of our C2 Cares program to make a difference within the communities where we live, work, and play.
Established in 1993, Schenectady Habitat serves Schenectady County in New York State’s Capital Region. The organization is dedicated to making quality, affordable housing solutions available to low-income families. To date, more than 50 houses have been sold – in addition to 100+ other housing units repaired, for a total of more than 150 families served in Schenectady County.
