C2 is proud to be a project partner for this transformative and vital affordable housing project in Troy, NY.
Michael Roman, RA, AIA, NCARB, principal and owner of C2 Design Group attended the groundbreaking ceremony held on Thursday, March 30, 2023.
Demolition of the two existing towers finished in early February. The site was cleared and prepared for future construction. A seven-story building with 141 apartments and more than 2,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space will be constructed at the foot of the Congress Street Bridge. Tenants will be eligible for federal Section 8 housing vouchers.
C2's involvement is to support Dattner Architects and Pennrose during Phase I of the revitalization efforts. We will provide support to the municipality, as well as an in-the-field presence during the construction administration phases.
