C2 partnered with Le Chase Construction to design and construct a new $2.1 million fire station for the Caroga Lake Volunteer Fire Company.
Located at 3237 Route 29A near the center of town, the new station is approximately 9,885 square feet. The existing fire station, built in the 1950s, was not large enough to house the current equipment needs, and no longer met the needs of the community.
The new facility features 4 truck bays with a larger storage area to accommodate equipment needs. There are also dedicated spaces for training, meeting and an administrative area. Additionally, the facility includes a a ready room, full kitchen, and recreation room.
